I prefer to make rava idlis coz it doesnt require any soaking or grinding. The easiest option is to make it from Gits or MTR packet but its fairly easy to make it from scratch too. It requires very few ingredients and is ready in l0 minutes.
Roasted rava-2 cups
Tadka-oil,mustard seeds 1tsp,chana dal-2 tsp,cashewnuts-some
1.Mix the roasted rava with water,salt and yoghurt to get a thick batter like consistency.
2.Add the tadka to the batter.
3, Just before steaming add the the eno salt and gently mix lightly and spoon them onto idli pan and steam for 8-10 min.
4. Serve with Sambaar and chutney
