Coriander chutney sandwich


I had this for breakfast today coz I had lot of coriander stems leftover from making the weekend biryani. This is what you would find in sandwich shops in india many many years ago. Things might have changed now,
INGREDIENTS:
Bread slices
ketchup
Thinly sliced cucumber &tomato (optional)
Butter- optional
For coriander chutney: Coriander leaves including the stems
                                   garlic clove-2
                                   greenchilli-2
                                   jaggery-1 tsp
                                   tamarind-1 tsp
                                   cumin seeds-1tsp
                                   roasted chana/daliya-1tsp......just to thicken the consistency
                                   salt
METHOD:
1. Grind all the ingredients for coriander chutney.
2. If you are not eating your sandwich immediately, then butter the slices to prevent it from getting soggy.
3. Spread coriander chutney on one slice and ketchup on the other
4.Put some thinly sliced cucumber & tomato and Enjoy
