Trifle fruit pudding

I must admit I have been buying this especially for kids' dessert and I never realized it was this easy to make it. The advantage is you could use low -fat ingredients.....ok ,whom are we kidding ,its a dessert after all!
1 pound cake (to make crumbs)
6 tbsp whipped cream (with icing sugar-optional)
Custard-2 can/angel delight, no cook
Delmonte mixed fruit- 1 can
1. In a serving dish pour half the custard and spread it evenly.
2. Top it with the cake crumbs and pour some  drained syrup from mixed fruit  to soak it.
3.Top it with remaining custard and whipped cream
4.Decorate with the drained mixed fruit. Serve chilled
5. For variation you could add a layer of jelly or use fruit of your choice.

  1. I used butterscotch pudding and it tastes heavenly and the cake I used was the ceapest spone cake on the shelf!
