Carrot cake

My co-sister is an expert in desserts and this is what she made for us . It is moist and the cream cheese frosting is literally the icing on the cake.
Plain flour-2 cups
Baking powder-2tsp
baking soda-1 tsp
salt-1 tsp
sugar-2 cups
cinnamon powder-2tsp
walnuts or pecans-1cup
oil-1 cup
carrots-1lb, grated
Dates- chopped 3/4 cup (optional)
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: Beat 1/4 butter, 3oz cream cheese,1 tbsp milk,1 tsp finely grated orange rind,2 cups icing sugar until fluffy.
1.In a mixing bowl at medium speed blend sugar ,eggs and oil.
2. Add carrots and dates and mix well.
3. Combine rest of the dry ingredients and stir it in until  its mixed well.
4.Pour In a greased and floured cake pan(13X9") and bake at 180C or 325F for 45 min.
5. Cool completely and frost with cream cheese frosting.
